If you’re yearning for a leisurely walk along the river, a quiet spot to dive into a captivating book, a serene space for meditation, or a picturesque setting for a delightful picnic, Waterfront Park offers it all.
Go for a hike at Tumwater Canyon Bridge



In less than a 10-minute drive from Leavenworth, Washington, you can embark on a memorable hike at Tumwater Canyon Bridge with your furry best friend. Walk along the rustic red bridge and take in the views of the Wenatchee River below. Walk further down and explore the trails. In the fall, the foliage bursts into a symphony of warm colors. I did not visit in the winter but I can just imagine experiencing a snow-covered wonderland.
Coffee Break Spots
1. Espresso Chalet



Espresso Chalet, located on Stevens Pass Highway (U.S. Route 2) is a great place to stop for some coffee and pastries on your way to Leavenworth or back to Seattle. You can utilize their drive-thru for a quick visit, capture selfies with BigFoot, browse for unique BigFoot souvenirs, or relax in their outdoor seating area while savoring your coffee and gazing at the Mt.Index. On my visit, it was rainy and cloudy so I didn’t get the chance to see the beautiful view of the mountain but the view of the trees were great on a Fall morning.
2. Little Red’s Espresso & Bakery

Little Red’s Espresso & Bakery is another wonderful choice for coffee and baked goods. A cute café with friendly staff. During my winter visit, I indulged in a Honey Lavender Latte, which perfectly complemented the chilly morning.
3. The Gingerbread Factory



The Gingerbread Factory in Leavenworth, Washington, is a delightful spot to sip on a cup of coffee and savor freshly baked goods, all while immersing yourself in the festive holiday spirit. It’s the perfect place to gather with friends or family, take in the charming decor, and enjoy the sweet and comforting flavors of the holidays.

1. IcIcle Brewing Company

The Icicle Brewing Company located in Leavenworth, Washington is a popular spot to grab a beer and hang out with family and friends. Also offers a dog friendly outdoor space.
2. München Haus


München Haus, a popular Bavarian-style restaurant known for its delicious bratwurst, sausages, and other German-inspired dishes. The restaurant offers a welcoming outdoor seating area making it a suitable place for dogs. On my visit, I tried a delicious Bavarian pretzel, a refreshing beer, and a mouthwatering bratwurst. The experience was absolutely delightful, providing an authentic taste of Germany.
3. Doghaus Brewery

On a pleasant autumn afternoon, we ventured to DogHaus Brewery for a beer, sandwich, and some doggy treats to refresh ourselves.
